We're seeing the same thing here.

We mirror the DB for ClamXAV users but we do a Mac-specific FP test first which 
usually takes around 3.5 hours on a fast Mac.

Daily DB version 27709 took 3 hours 20 minutes whereas version 27710 took 12 
hours 46 minutes
