Hi all, I am new to ClamAV and have some questions. Maybe someone could answer some of them.
We are having a Windows file server which we want to check for viruses regularly. Though we have another anti virus package running. So we also want to get a second opinion. We have various file types there. Also bigger zip files. I have read that ClamAV stops scanning after a defined file size. Are viruses generally at the start of a file or some traces of it? Whats the recommended file size and file amount to set? Any other options i might set? Greetings and thanks, Simon
