Yep. Ubuntu provides ClamAV packages - https://packages.ubuntu.com/source/clamav You'll see that for Ubuntu 24.04 (Noble Numbat) they provide 1.0.5+dfsg-1.1ubuntu3 which is a bit outdated - current version is 1.3.1. You should be able to just `apt install clamav` to install it. .deb packages are available from https://www.clamav.net/downloads which I would *expect* would work on Ubuntu, but you won't get the automatic security updates that you'd get if you use the distro-provided package. (Of course, you can also build from source if you wish, as you can do so for any platform where a suitable pre-packaged version isn't available, but you're probably better off just using the Ubuntu-maintained package) Cheers Dave P _______________________________________________ Manage your clamav-users mailing list subscription / unsubscribe: https://lists.clamav.net/mailman/listinfo/clamav-users Help us build a comprehensive ClamAV guide: https://github.com/Cisco-Talos/clamav-documentation https://docs.clamav.net/#mailing-lists-and-chat
