Vaughn, As Ged mentioned, it is not necessary to run clamconf in order to gererate any conf flies. Installation takes care of all that.
In order to see the freshclam.conf info, you need to run it as root;
sudo clamconf
clamav-milter is a third party ClamAV tool, so if you didn't install it, there
won't be any clamav-milter.conf.
