Jay, You might want to take a look at ClamXAV which will give you a GUI interface enabling you to do most, if not all of what you are attempting, as well as provide some additional features and protections over and above what ClamAV can do: <https://www.clamxav.com>. It does require a paid subscription after a fully operational trial period.
