Why do you reject *all* email from ".edu".
Because all connections we see from .edu are either from compromised
accounts sending spam or from irresponsible juveniles who think it's
clever/cool/whatever to try to hack into other people's computers
don't get me wrong that is laughable - just because you don't see false
positives you are triggering with such a misguided policy don't mean you
are not rejecting legit mail
it's probably fine if it's a mailserver just for your personal use but a
no-go if you are responsible for other peoples email at least when it's
not backed with DNSWL and/or SPF and messages making it trhough that
checks are handeled by a proper content based filter
