you posted a lot of stuff but not the clamav version
the memory errors sounds like it's outdated

the whole "permission denied" stuff running sudo and so with
root-permissions is strange too

To make back-out easier, I rarely purge daily.cvd and main.cvd, but just
rename the old ones with a date suffix, e.g., "daily.cvd.150416-0235".
I could easily provide a few from the past 1.5 years, and might be
able to find even older ones (with the associated main.cvd).

I?d have to check, I am not sure we retain those. I don?t think they
are available publicly anywhere either.

Hello.

The ClamAV download page contains a number of past stable releases of
the software. The most recent virus database files (.cvd) are also
available to download manually.

Is it also possible to obtain old versions of the .cvd files? I would
like to experiment with ClamAV as it existed on certain dates from
the past.

Thanks,

Summary shows the current engine 0.99.2.

LibCLamAV warnings might be lack of RAM.
