Clamd can be set up to listen on a TCP port for remote scans, but you
still need to use clamdscan or something else that understands the
protocol to talk to it. I am not aware of any easy way to do scans via
http.

Hi all,
I would please like to know if clamav is supported on HP-UX, and where I can
get the manuals to install on HP-UX.
I haven't tried it on HP-UX, but ClamAV should be fairly easy to install on any
standard Linux/Unix system. If there are not packages available, you can
always install from source. Personally, I prefer to install ClamAV from source
so that I don't have to wait on the packagers when a new version comes out.
