Since it’s the weekend again you probably won’t hear from the Team any time soon, so I’ll tell you what I can.
I realize there were issues with many submissions last weekend, but in another discussion we were told: > ...we received them. They just weren’t being processed correctly. You need to be subscribed to the clamav-virusdb list in order to receive an e-mail notification that your sample has been dealt with. Then you will need to look in the archives or in your e-mail for the daily:xxxxxx that was released at about the same time as your e-mail and search for your name. You will either see the signature that was added or a “No”. The only time you would need to bring up a submission on this list is if you feel it has a major impact on you or many other users. It would also be appropriate if a couple of weeks or more have gone by without receiving any notification. As Joel mentioned to you earlier, they “receive millions of samples a day” so it may be some time before they can get to yours. -Al- On Fri, Feb 19, 2016 at 05:39 PM, Gerald Venzl wrote: > > Hi, > > I haven't heard anything back yet from my submission and as I'm new to > ClamAV I don't fully understand the procedure yet. > > I have just submitted another file with the JavaScript virus my website is > struggling. > > 17:38 Pacific time > 58d94feebb1e71d8404956c6b0a3207e8e6cb0a425f2a5cc6942eb4bb25292cb > JSMalware.js _______________________________________________ Help us build a comprehensive ClamAV guide: https://github.com/vrtadmin/clamav-faq http://www.clamav.net/contact.html#ml
