Hello list, I've been having lots of problems with scanning major dataset. Command I execute is: "clamdscan -i -m --fdpass /mnt/dataset/ --log=clamav.log"
After some time of processing ClamAV starts to find malware and in this point I'm still a happy administrator. Soon my feelings get little confused. I get following error: "ERROR: Communication error" This is in the logfile as well as in the stdout. I previously tried to ask about this in devel mailing list, but did not get any responses. https://www.mail-archive.com/clamav-devel@lists.clamav.net/msg03682.html While enabling all debug logging I see this line in clamav.log: Thu May 29 19:04:32 2014 -> Client read timed out I tried to increase timeouts in clamd.conf: ReadTimeout 1200 IdleTimeout 300 CommandReadTimeout 5 SendBufTimeout 200 BytecodeTimeout 60000 I still receive same Communication error, but not as fast as before. Do you have ideas how to get rid of this problem? This issue makes ClamAV unusable in our environment and I'd really like to know if there is malware in for example our user's web sites. 10.0.0.1:/mnt/dataset/ 28T 16T 13T 56% /mnt/dataset/ --- Henri Salo ps.
