A couple quick points: 1) If you haven't checked the dazuko/dazukofs project website and FAQs, it's here: www.dazuko.org 2) clamd needs to run as root to interact with dazuko/dazukofs. 3) The latest 0.97 branch release of ClamAV was 0.97.8. I highly recommend you use that instead of 0.97.4. 4) I don't know if it affects your specific installation, but other security framework modules (e.g. capability) do not always co-exist well with dazuko.
