As I say, I've never been asked to do it before, and yes I do get hundreds if not thousands of spam attempts each day and am subscribed to dozens of mailing lists. My email address has been public since I started using it, I have measures in place to deal with the problem as I run my own mail server and have complete control of it. Sorry if you thought I was being awkward.
