As I said, the RAR file format has unique licensing concerns around distribution of RAR decompression logic. The package maintainers who built the ClamAV code for the package decided how they would build and bundle the components, including how to handle RAR. You probably need to separately install a RAR decompression library. Officially, you would have to check with the package maintainers to be sure how they set it up. But ... if you downloaded ClamAV from dag.wieers.com like that reference URL describes, you probably should also get unrar from there. I am fairly confident they have unrar packages available and expect that's what you need. Give that a try. Side note: The config.log file I was asking about is the results from running the configure script at build time. It is unlikely that would be in the package. You would have one such file if you build from the source yourself.
