If you want to do calls and like a bigger screen you could as well have your tablet computer with you and use Google Talk (Video), or a simple phone app. Still your tab may run Android and have lots of RAM and flash available. And if you really want a keyboard you can attach one (like Asus eeePad dock or quite some others via BT) My personal choice is the smartphone, not the tablet.
