Hi,

I'm tried last week to run the new ClamAV 0.96 on all our mail and proxy
server. All fine and ok but one server have problems, that I cannot
understand.

After a try to start "clamd" I get this error:
LibClamAV Error: cli_cvdload: Corrupted CVD header
LibClamAV Error: Can't load /usr/local/share/clamav/bytecode.cvd:
Malformed database
ERROR: Malformed database

I had already delete the content of /usr/local/share/clamav and let
freshclam get all new, but the error remains. I had tried to copy the
content from another server, but the errors still remains.
If I go back to version 0.95.3 (old build and a complete new rebuild)
works all fine!

The System is a 32Bit Debian Etch (4.0) with a self compiled Kernel
2.6.21.1. GCC is 4.1.1.
Other Debian Etch Systems have no problems, but they are 64Bit and not
32Bit. Can there be a problem with 32bit libs?
Configure is ./configure --libdir=/usr/local/lib

Someone a idea?

Thank you!
