Thank you for writing me back. I believe I updated freshclam as well,
but I will double check.
The output of those two commands are:
:/home/ty# clamconf -n
bash: clamconf: command not found
:/home/ty# ls -l /usr/lib/libclam*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 18 2009-09-24 08:55 /usr/lib/libclamav.so.5
-> libclamav.so.5.0.4
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 710840 2009-04-15 01:38 /usr/lib/libclamav.so.5.0.4
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 18 2010-01-25 08:22 /usr/lib/libclamav.so.6
-> libclamav.so.6.0.5
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 737068 2009-11-02 14:19 /usr/lib/libclamav.so.6.0.5

Hi,
I have updated my Debian server to ClamAV 0.95.3. However anything I do
still tells me my version is outdated. All commands that I run such as
clamscan -V, clamav -V, whereis, they all advise me that I have 0.95.3.
Whenever I run freshclam or apt-cache show clamav I get advised I am out
of date.
Did you upgrade freshclam too? Debian has a separate package for it.
All searches I run find no instance of 0.94.2. I have searched
the web, forum sites and your FAQ's page and cannot seem to find a
correct solution for this. Any ideas?
What does clamconf -n output?
Also what does this output:
ls -l /usr/lib/libclam*
Best regards,
