Freshclam 0.95.2 running from cron on an Linux FC8 system. (Built from source).
Getting no further than...... " ClamAV update process started at Tue Jun 16 13:49:01 2009 main.cld is up to date (version: 51, sigs: 545035, f-level: 42, builder: sven) daily.cld is up to date (version: 9470, sigs: 29413, f-level: 43, builder: ccordes) Trying host db.UK.clamav.net (163.1.3.8)... Downloading safebrowsing-4551.cdiff [100%] " It's unable to reload clamd, I think, and subsequent freshclam runs give the error...... " ERROR: /var/log/freshclam.log is locked by another process ERROR: Problem with internal logger (UpdateLogFile = /var/log/ freshclam.log). " I have to manually 'kill' freshclam. Is anyone else having this problem ??
