My install of Clamd has been crashing regularly.
5 times yesterday, 28 times  and counting today.

 From what I can glean from the clamd log the crashes occur always at  
the point of reloading.
Freshclam is set not to issue the reload command.
The Bill Landry script does not reload either.

The only thing saving my skin at the moment is clamdwatch v.0.7.3 set  
to run every 120 seconds.

Can any one help ??
