True, he should remember, but I just did a test and if the mail is sent to an alias on our sendmail system, the exact address is not listed in the header. Only the clam mailing list address is shown, which is not helpful. Maybe this is peculiar to our sendmail set-up, but in this case, the OP's original complaint (minus the profanity) wouldn't be entirely unreasonable. In this case, the mail unsub method can't work. If the unsub URL included the address information, it would solve this problem, and would certainly be a better plan than having the recipients flag the mailing list traffic as spam.
