Hello, clamd process on my Solaris 10 x86 box grows up to 2 GB just in few days, this seems a bit excessive for me. At first clamd was compiled in 32 bit mode with gcc but few days back I compiled it in 64 bit just to see if it had any effect, it did not.
Anyone else seeing such behaviour? Here is CFLAGS used to compile clamd with and clamd.conf for reference -Os -march=opteron -m64 -R/usr/sfw/lib/64 LogFileMaxSize 8M LogTime yes LogSyslog yes LogFacility LOG_LOCAL4 PidFile /var/spool/amavis/clamd.pid DatabaseDirectory /var/lib/clamav LocalSocket /var/spool/amavis/clamd FixStaleSocket yes StreamMaxLength 20M User amavis Debug no AlgorithmicDetection yes ScanPE yes ScanELF yes ScanOLE2 yes ScanPDF yes ScanMail yes MailFollowURLs no PhishingScanURLs yes ScanHTML yes ScanArchive yes Tomi _______________________________________________ Help us build a comprehensive ClamAV guide: visit http://wiki.clamav.net http://www.clamav.net/support/ml
