OK, can you rebuild with ipv6 enabled, and provide us with the output of: strace freshclam -v Please open a bug and put that output there. Also if you could tell us more about your system, like: - is IPv6 enabled on the system - are you connected to an IPv6 network (directly, or via a tunnel?)
