Hi, 
Actually We are an ISP (CYBERIA)  of Saudi Arabia,  I  have same issue as 
described below although I  have dowloaded latest bzip2 package from the 
sunfreeware  but no use, Please help us to solve this issue, 

Here is my solaris 8 box info, 

bash# Uanme -a 
SunOS mailgate1 5.8 Generic_117350-46 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-60

bash# gcc -v
