I'm running Fedora Core 8, and ClamAV 0.92.1/5777. I can run freshclam to update defs with no problem. The /var/lib/clamav/daily.inc is automatically updated regularly.
Does the /usr/bin/freshclam program uses the settings from the /usr/share/clamav/freshclam-sleep script to update every 3hrs? Is the /etc/sysconfig/freshclam used to customize the update frequency? what is the proper sintax.
