Do you see the error here? It shows LogFileMaxSize = 1M as before. Perhaps you have more than one such freshclam.conf file? Or perhaps mistyped the entry? Duplication of the conf files happens often when ClamAV is installed from packages where the source of those packages can vary from one version to the next. There's no real standard for packages so you really need to remove the old package before installing a new one, and you need to verify all the parts of the old one are truly gone.
