Clamd was making those directories allright in var/tmp. Now that it's on /var/tmp2 everything is running smooth. The differences between /var/tmp and /var/tmp2 is ownership and sticky bit: drwxrwxrwx 2 qscand qscand 512 Jan 12 20:18 tmp2 drwxrwxrwt 31760 root sys 58368 Jan 12 20:07 tmp But aparently problem has gone ...
