Hi,

I'd like to inform you that Xandros has been selling a
proprietary, closed source anti-virus application that
is nothing more than a pretty shell to ClamAV.
Importantly, the so-called "Xandros Anti-Virus" links
to ClamAV headers, uses ClamAV resources and is a
clear derivative work of ClamAV. The Xandros
Anti-Virus application should therefore be licensed
under the GPL. Nonetheless, the sources are nowhere to
be found.

I urge you to uphold your copyrights as ClamAV
developers against this parasite company that has
given nothing back to ClamAV or to the Linux/open
source community.

For more information on how to uphold your rights,
please go to:

http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-violation.html

Thanks,
Stan

PS: Not only is Xandros a GPL-violator when it comes
to multiple FOSS projects, but they also bought into
M$'s patent protection racket.
