I've been asked to add a perl socket test for those that do not have
socat installed and do not want to install it on their production
systems. So I added a secondary perl socket test that will run if socat
is not detected. Sorry for the noise, hopefully this will be the last
update for awhile. The script can be downloaded at the usual places:

    ftp://ftp.inetmsg.com/pub/unofficial-sigs.sh

And will probably show up on the SaneSecurity usage site when Steve has
some time to upload it. Changes:

Version 1.7a (updated 9/10/07)
   - Added secondary perl socket test to detect if clamd is running.
This test uses the 'IO::Socket::UNIX' perl module. If socat is
not found on the system, then the script will attempt to use the
perl module instead (the user will be warned if neither socat nor
IO::Socket::UNIX are found, but the script will still run updates).
   - Updated comments to reflect the additional perl socket test.
