Presumably the state of the mirrors is maintained between runs somewhere (mirrors.dat). Is it not possible to alter that table with a utility or null the table? If possible this would make the system immune to the bug and still allow the more efficient cdiff files to be used. I suspect too the freshclam.conf file can be modified to select specific mirrors, and it is certainly possible to build your own list of servers and put them in your own dns server but that's a bit more work. I used to do it though because mirrors were always breaking for what ever reason and it let me get through the weekends without a call-out from the NOC. dp _______________________________________________ Help us build a comprehensive ClamAV guide: visit http://wiki.clamav.net http://lurker.clamav.net/list/clamav-users.html
