Regrettably, FreeBSD 4.x is no longer supported by the ports tree. See this: http://www.freebsd.org/portmgr/policies_releng_4.html ...or /usr/ports/UPDATING: 20070205: AFFECTS: all users of FreeBSD 4.X AUTHOR: [EMAIL PROTECTED] The remnants of FreeBSD 4.X support have been removed from bsd.port.mk. Any remaining users should _not_ get this or any subsequent updates. Of course, there's nothing wrong with 4.x as a stable platform, and it's possible to build ClamAV yourself with minor tweaks to get the POSIX thread library included properly-- I believe the main thing is to use just "-pthread" in LDFLAGS and not the "-pthread -lc_r" which is for FreeBSD 5.x. Please see the message from John Capo <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> earlier today which has more details.... -- -Chuck _______________________________________________ Help us build a comprehensive ClamAV guide: visit http://wiki.clamav.net http://lurker.clamav.net/list/clamav-users.html
