That's not different though, from when it was logging the viruses to clamav.log. If you look at clamassassin, it does call clamscan, but again, it USED to log virus names to clamav.log.

Try using clamdscan instead - it doesn't need to load all the databases each time it runs as does clamscan. The args in your clamassassin.txt file look ok for clamdscan. That will definitely make entries in the log.
