Yeah, so I've found.  Unfortunately the port maintainer obviously only
uses 6.x (which isn't really a surprise).

ClamAV 0.90.x is really only usable on FreeBSD 6+ using libthr.  There's
something in the threading in 0.90.x that does not like libpthread on
FreeBSD.

More accurately on FreeBSD 6.x - under 5.x it's perfectly happy (at
least in my experience) with libpthread.
