Me too.

You just need to kill the pid of running daemons clamd and freshclam.
A simple "/etc/init.d/clamav-daemon restart" (or "stop" "start") won't
work.

Then, "/etc/init.d/clamav-daemon restart" will go, showing the usual
"outdated" warning.
