Re [Clamav-users] Anyone else having problems with the AU mirror for updates?
We keep getting "Mirrors are not fully synchronized. Please try again later"
This is because DNS version of daily.cvd is 2025 :
dig TXT current.cvd.clamav.net | grep ^current
current.cvd.clamav.net. 3m9s IN TXT "0.88.4:40:2025:1160609341:1"
but the 2 Australian mirrors that are contactable have
older (prehistoric in case of pacific) versions of daily.cvd than this:
GET "http://clamav.mirror.pacific.net.au/daily.cvd"; > /tmp/daily.cvd.pacific
sigtool -i /tmp/daily.cvd.pacific

The other AU mirror clamav.island.net.au
responds with "daily.cvd was not found"
A workaround for this is to comment out
DatabaseMirror db.au.clamav.net
DatabaseMirror database.clamav.net
in freshclam.conf and add a DatabaseMirror line pointing
to a mirror host that has an uptodate daily.cvd
