The system that I'm using (SMEServer) will produce a command line (using
the above example) as
$ clamscan -r --exclude /etc /etc
which appears to do the same job as
$ clamscan -r --exclude=/etc /etc
Will leaving out '=' cause problems.
Also, with --exclude-dir is it possible to exclude only a directory in a
tree. eg. /foo/bar/what only exclude /foo/bar but still scan /foo and
/foo/bar/what ? (could be a case of me learning more about regular
expressions)
