Use the little perl script that Chris Candreva
posted earlier in this thread.
Update the $file and $dbfile variables with the
full path of your DatabaseDirectory as listed in
your clamd.conf file.
Then set cron to run the script every 6 hours or
so (but not right on the hour). Clamscan will
use the downloaded updates immediately, clamd
will pick up the changes next time it does a self-test.
Clam will use any file in the DatabaseDirectory
ending in *db as a signature file.
