I searched without any success archives talking about quarantine
directory for clamav (not clamav-milter).
I'm looking for this to store infected files in a directory so the
administrator can see files which are infected and decide what to do.
I would say that is more of a job for your mail-server, not clamav.
This job isn't for our mail-server (which is an external service in my
firm). The most majority of files inserted into our smb-server are going
from external devices (usb keys, cds, dvds).
Is the quarantine option implemented in clamav or not ?
Run clamscan -h or clamdscan -h. For this to work everywhere in your
file system you will need root privileges. I suggest you not do this in
/ and be sure to exclude your quarantine directory from scanning.
