Hi there
I've been watching CME (Common Malware Enumerator) starting to take off
over the past few weeks, and I've noticed CME entries and their
corresponding names used by antivirus vendors.

Is there no interest in supporting this, or am I just blind? (the latter
is quite possible ;-)

This activity seems to me to be a fine way to paint dull gray all the players in
the market, leaving the public wondering whom among them is best. My feeling is
that like a news scoop, being first to market with a new signature/virus name is
something to take pride in. Like the yellow shirt in the Tour de Farce
^H^H^H^H^H^H France. And the ClamAV team has much to be prideful of. Me? I
wouldn't give that up - especially if paychecks depended upon it.
