Hi all!
I have an e-mail server that uses qmail-ldap, qmail-scanner and clamav
(clamd/clamdscan).
I search in many lists and didn't find answers. The problem is that,
after some time that I started clamd, it gives the follow log:
2005-10-25 15:20:35.008485500 ERROR: pthread_create failed
2005-10-25 15:20:35.011463500 ERROR: pthread_create failed
2005-10-25 15:20:35.014980500 ERROR: pthread_create failed
In some lists, they recommended to raise the softlimit. The problem
continues. I remove the softlimit and start clamd. The problem
continues. It crashs after some minutes after it starts.
The server is using a dual processor with hyperthread support. The linux
kernel (2.6.13) is compiled to support it too. Anybody knows any
relation between this and that error or know the reason for this error?
