If you know who the run-as user is and where the various files are going to be created you need only ensure the directories they are placed in are writeable by the run-as user. Also make sure that any existing files written to by ClamAV are owned by the run-as user, or at least writable. Many people start this stuff as user root before things are well-defined, and the created files are owned by root which can be awkward for the run-as user process that trys to write to them later. dp _______________________________________________ http://lurker.clamav.net/list/clamav-users.html
