Then, to the OP, I would strongly suggest going with this setup, or at least testing it. This was the easiest, cheapest (Management loves that word), and most effective method for us to reduce spam, viruses, and all-around garbage that went through our mailserver. As some anecdotal evidence, here's a top 10 of our last 5 months virus history, all blocked before they ever made it to our exchange server, and since we did this, we've only had the damaged files that aren't really viruses picked up by our desktop or server AV. 3845 Worm.Sober.P FOUND 1470 Worm.Mytob.BR FOUND 602 Worm.SomeFool.P FOUND 231 HTML.Phishing.Bank-1 FOUND 200 Worm.Mytob.H-1 FOUND 139 Worm.SomeFool.Gen-1 FOUND 135 Worm.SomeFool.I FOUND 109 Worm.Mytob.BN-2 FOUND 94 Worm.Mytob.AS FOUND 67 Worm.Mytob.CA FOUND Clam AV has certainly made my life easier. _______________________________________________ http://lurker.clamav.net/list/clamav-users.html
