Because an anti-virus tool is critical for any internet connected system I
think you should get some direct qualified help immediately to get your
installation going first, then you should take what ever time is required
to learn what you do not now understand. A BBS or mail list like this is
too slow and inefficient for the job of both teachng you critical basic
general knowlege and to get your AV going. The questions you ask are best
directed to the packager of your ClamAV distribution, and you should read
and understand the documentation that came with the package. If no
documentation was included you should delete the package and get another
that is properly annotated or build from scratch. In the mean time let
someone else do your installation so your system is safe for you and the
rest of us. It's a good learning experience, too.

This isn't meant to insult you, but if you do not understand these simple
warnings and advisory messages your insstallation is providing then you
cannot hope to have any confidence in your installation nor even know when
you have completed the job. There are some folks here who would probably
be happy to get you over the hurdle of the initial install and hopefully
to give you some stress-free time to better understand this package.
