Hello I've a problem on clamav 0.85.1-2 never experienced in the previous versions and not seen on any web page or mailing list (I did every single upgrade in the past, starting from 0.70 and I never had any problem - I use sarge and sendmail). As soon as I passed to 0.85.1-2 (maybe it occurred on 0.84 as well), clamav-milter hangs or crashes each time "freshclam" gets a real update and notifes clamd. This does not happen on mail server with a low mail traffic (tested manually removing main.cvd before invoking freshclam). It always happens on our main mail server, that has a lot of mail traffic (tested manually removing main.cvd before invoking freshclam).
As soon as freshclam ends, logging: ClamAV update process started at Fri May 20 08:52:01 2005 main.cvd is up to date (version: 31, sigs: 33079, f-level: 4, builder: tkojm) daily.cvd updated (version: 887, sigs: 1460, f-level: 5, builder: arnaud) Database updated (34539 signatures) from db.it.clamav.net (IP: 159.149.155.69) Clamd successfully notified about the update. in /var/log/clamav/clamav.log appear these messages: LibClamAV Warning: Not reloading database until idle - waiting for 8 children LibClamAV Warning: Not accepting inputs at the moment ..... ....
