I'll switch it over right now and see how that works. The Sendmail version is (now) 8.13.3. I'm going to search through the archives and see if I can find anything else relevant. Is there a preferred MTA to use with ClamAV, or a preferred method for it to integrate it with sendmail (that might work better than the milter?)
