well, that's not an AIX issue, it's an hardware issue ;) my addendum: RiscPC (and slight variations of this) is Acorn stuff. (btw: the PReP machines used to run Win NT 3.5 (PowerPC), AIX of course, Solaris 2.5x for PowerPC (was it called SunOS back then?) etc. -- most of these obscure OSs didn't make their way out of the labs :D) my first thought was emulating AIX: NetBSD e.g. supports this (see [1]), AFAIK there's unfortunately no AIX emu layer implemented (yet). perhaps the linux guys have this? i'm sure that linux runs on most, if not all of PReP machines as it's nearly plain PowerPC stuff... > > > >>i do have such a machine here, but i have no AIX that fits -- i only >>have AIX for G5, unfortunately. > > > Sods law :) ? > > > Cheers Timo, > > Matt cheers, -- Timo Schoeler | http://macfinity.net/~tis | [EMAIL PROTECTED] //macfinity -- finest IT services | http://macfinity.net Key fingerprint = F844 51BE C22C F6BD 1196 90B2 EF68 C851 6E12 2D8A There are 10 types of people in the world.
