How are virues like IRC.LXD.A, IRC.Gadez.A encountered
Probably distributed to recipients through a Trojan-Downloader or Worm.
? When a user submit a virus, how do clamav team know that they are of IRC types ??? Just curious .
Naming is often based on what other av-products may call it or simply by observing the behavior (with example ethereal).
Please note that IRC malware isn't virus, but often used to "remote control" the infected machine.
