No they didn't send themselves per e-mail. So what you're saying is, only selfspreading e-mail viruses qualify to make it through the submit process ?
No, but Email borne malware has the highest priority.I know itīs a bit frustrating to send in samples without getting response. The problem is, that we receive dozens of samples every day and have only limited time. Clam wont pay our rent, so we have to waste time with other jobs - not that we dare to have a private life ;-)
I try my best to add as much as possible and i would love to spend more time on it and i can only ask you to "keep the faith".
I for one work about 8 to 14 hours in a "real" job and spent at least 4 hours every day and most of my weekends on ClamAV. And i heard of team-members that spend even more time on it. Tomasz is the best example - if i send a mail to our team-list at 3 in the morning, itīs almost sure that Tomasz will answer 5 Minutes later.
Donīt get me wrong, iīm not crying about it, but please understand that we work pretty much at the limit - but we wont give up. :-)
