If the antivirus program can work as a filter program from the standard input to the standard output, it can be attached to DeleGate with "FFROMSV" parameter which specifies the filter applied to the data from a server. You need to use the latest version <ftp://ftp.delegate.org/pub/DeleGate/alpha/delegate9.0.0-pre10.tar.gz> to avoid a bug around FFROMSV with Socks. " > Failing that - RTFM for the proxy in question.
