Hello,

I am brand-new to ClamAV. I just compiled it on my
FreeBSD 4.11 system, and everything went fine. I also
wrote a small prog to connect to the domain socket;
that went fine, too. :)

During compilation, however, I saw clamd wants the
following executables:

===> clamav-0.83 depends on executable: lha - not found
===> clamav-0.83 depends on executable: unarj - not found
===> clamav-0.83 depends on executable: unrar - not found
===> clamav-0.83 depends on executable: zoo - not found
===> clamav-0.83 depends on executable: arc - not found

The make compiled them all. I just hope clamd is not shelling
out to these executables for archives tests. Ick. That would
be mighty expensive calls. Or is it just using their libraries?

Thanks,

- Mark
