blackhole isnt being developed now ... we have done some changes to it to get it to run spamassin 3.x

so i'll ask another question .... what are others running .... i like black hole in that you can set which domains or even users mail is scanned and even what incomming mail gets scanned ..... as you guess we are a small isp and use the combination to scan for rbl's spam and virus
we also have vpopmail running on our qmailto allow virtual email domains to be run.

If you want to keep your vpopmail config, I would suggest Matt Simerson's Qmail Toaster. See http://www.tnpi.biz/internet/mail/toaster/. We use one to let our hosted domain clients manage their own configs and it mostly just works.

It integrates the usual suspects--qmail, vpopmail, qmailadmin, spamassassin, clamav, qmail-scanner or simscan, ezmlm, several webmail packages, and several reporting tools (RRD, isoqlog, etc)--goes together very easily and makes running a virtual mail server a breeze.

It's developed on FreeBSD, but is also works with Linux if that's your poison.

Oddly, our qmail toaster was the first box on which we tried out ClamAV. It was impressive enough that we ended up installing the clamav-milter on our main Sendmail boxes and relegating F-Prot to second-stringer status. :-)

but if any one has any other configureations they use and like ....
