All, We use ClamAV with CanIt Pro (mimedefang, milter, spamassassin) for mail scanning. Some Word documents seem to trigger this:
Rejected: Virus suspicious - handler Discard
Advice?
I searched the archives, but don't see anything similar. I have been told that File::Scan can create false positives.
This is very likely File::Scan. I'm assuming you have File::Scan installed since you mentioned it. If it is installed, CanIT Pro will use it automatically by default, unless you specifically tell it not to in your filter.
I've seen false positives on .xls files in the past and subsequently removed File::Scan from my mail server at work.
